Why Jennifer Lopez’s Social Media Accounts Go Dark: Actress-producer-singer Jennifer Lopez’s social media channels, which include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter, have suddenly gone dark with her featured/cover photos. That’s probably because the ‘Hustlers’ and ‘Marry Me’ actress is about to announce a new project, reports Deadline. While Lopez’s Instagram account has deleted all posts, traces of her previous postings on Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter remain.

Lopez has close to 347 million followers across all four social media platforms, most of which come from Instagram. According to ‘Deadline,’ Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions signed a multi-year first-look deal with Netflix through June 2021 to produce feature films, TV series, and unscripted content, supporting diverse female actors, writers, and filmmakers. Emphasis was placed on projects to be implemented.

Lopez scored her best debut for a live-action movie at the US box office with Hustlers, which opened to $33.1 million, grossed $105 million stateside, and $157.6 million worldwide.

As a recording artist, Lopez has sold over 70 million albums, with ‘J.Lo’ becoming her best-selling album, with 3.8 million copies sold in the US and 12 million globally.

Deadline reports that director Niki Caro’s Netflix thriller “The Mother” is set to debut in May. Her romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding opposite Josh Duhamel will premiere on January 27 on Prime Video.
